We are currently conducting comprehensive tests on a 40MVA, 220KV power transformer, a critical piece of equipment for power transmission systems.

During the testing phase, advanced instrumentation is deployed to ensure precision. The Yokogawa WT5000 precision power analyzer captures essential parameters such as voltage, current, frequency, and power. The analyzer’s screen clearly displays real-time data—including voltage readings around 23kV, a stable frequency near 50Hz, and detailed power metrics—enabling a comprehensive assessment of the transformer’s performance.

We also employ specialized systems such as the digital impulse measurement system. Graphs on the interface illustrate voltage and current waveforms during impulse tests, which are crucial for evaluating the transformer’s insulation strength and its ability to withstand transient overvoltages. Additionally, partial discharge tests are conducted using a multi-channel digital partial discharge integrative analyzer. The display presents various discharge patterns and magnitude data, allowing early detection of potential insulation flaws.

Each step of the testing process is executed with meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to industry standards. This ensures the transformer meets all performance and safety requirements, guaranteeing reliable operation within power grids.

The testing environment is fully equipped, with cranes and other handling equipment facilitating precise positioning and connection of the transformer for various test scenarios. The facility’s layout supports an efficient workflow and enables thorough monitoring throughout the testing procedures.
